Brookside breeds for type, temperament, soundness and rideability for both jumpers and eventers. We breed for both amateur riders and professionals alike, and are proud to offer quality horses to suit a range of budgets.

All our horses are registered, branded, DNA tested, trimmed, handled and float trained prior to sale.

 

We stand the imported licensed stallions Quintago I (Quidam de Revel x N-Cassina) and Renegade Z (Ramiro x Quidam de Revel x Cor de la Bryere). Both stallions are proven sires of 1.6m jumpers and 2* eventers- and a fantastic and proven cross with Australian Thoroughbred mares. ​

We also stand Brookside Esperance (Emerald x Baluga x Vivant x Colthaga), who has thrown two excellent first crops of foals in 2024 & 2025. He will commence light competition in 2025-26, which may limit his bookings.

Joining the stud in 2025, Bellhaven Nullarbor (Kannan x Cardento x Coraldo) brings WBFSH world #1 jumper stallion Kannan into our program. Nully is scopey, leggy, modern and has a brilliant temperament- he suits almost any mare!

Our mares are just as important as our stallions, and we are proud to be the home of proven dam lines, by both warmblood and quality performance Thoroughbred lines. Our mare lines  include: Vivant, Cassini II, Balou du Rouet, Heartbreaker, Bellhaven Coraldo, Levisonn, Carpino Z, Champion FP, Cruising, Renegade Z, Glasgow vant Merlenest and more.
